The employer
Cedar Hollow Oxford is an independent woodland retreat set within 12 acres of private woodland on the edge of Oxford, beside the C. S. Lewis Nature Reserve and Shotover Country Park.
We create imaginative, design-led stays that combine nature, storytelling and a little magic. Our accommodation includes a woodland treehouse, characterful hideaways and immersive experiences inspired by Oxford’s literary and creative heritage.
At the heart of Cedar Hollow is a belief that hospitality should feel personal, memorable and rooted in its surroundings. We care deeply about conservation, sustainability and supporting artists, makers and craftspeople, while giving guests the opportunity to slow down, reconnect with nature and experience something they would not find in a conventional hotel.
What makes us different is the combination of woodland, creativity, playfulness and thoughtful hospitality woven throughout the entire experience.
