Early Years Apprenticeship

• You’ll play an integral part in fostering an environment that is warm, supportive and caring for the children, leading by example to demonstrate professionalism as a practitioner and member of the nursery team
• You’ll be a key person for the children allocated to you, building strong relationships with them and their parents
• You’ll complete regular assessments that reflect the needs, interests, and stages of development of the child
• You will work closely with parents to develop learning journeys and help shape development activities to meet the individual needs of the children in your group
• You will have an awareness of disabilities, family cultures and medical histories for all the children in your group
• You will work as part of a team and independently as a key person for your group
• You’ll seek opportunities to develop your role and undertake additional responsibilities such as project lead, training co-ordinator etc.
