Property maintenance operative (level 2)
As an Apprentice, you will support the upkeep
and presentation of the Oakland International site, ensuring it remains a safe and professional working environment for employees, customers and visitors. You will learn practical
maintenance skills while assisting with
building maintenance, facilities
management and improvements.
The work
Assist with maintaining the internal and external appearance of the site.
Support routine building maintenance.
Clean and maintain evaporator fans, refrigeration units and other facility equipment.
Carry out basic plumbing repairs including toilet maintenance and minor pipework repairs.
Assist with cleaning blocked drains and sewage systems safely using appropriate equipment and procedures.
Complete painting, decorating and minor carpentry tasks.
Training
The apprentice will train one day as week at either Redditch or Worcester campus.
