Housing and property management assistant (level 2)
Join our team as a Housing Management Assistant Apprentice and kick-start your career in property and housing management! This paid apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing housing services, supporting tenants, and developing essential administrative skills.
The work
- To complete a Level 2 Housing Management Apprenticeship
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or questions from staff or clients
- Be able to use the electronic recording system
- Create spreadsheets and other documents using Excel, Microsoft word and other programmes
- Collaborate with other team members to enhance overall efficiency and planning of maintenance schedules, including working with Landlords and other contractors
- Complete meter readings, Health & Safety, Fire safety audits if required
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Completing grant and benefit application forms
- Build relationships with Plymouth City Council, regarding housing benefit and council tax
- Analyse and monitor utility bills and payments
- Understand compliance issues and laws around housing
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and maintenance
- To take part in any training / supervisions / appraisals when requested by Marama Supported Living
Training
- 1-1 sessions with your tutor
- No college release day
- Online sessions
- Functional Skills if required
