Accounts Assistant Apprentice

• Bookkeeping: Maintaining accurate digital records for a portfolio of clients, reconciling bank statements, and processing sales and purchase invoices
• Accounts Preparation: Assisting with the compilation of year-end and statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Tax Preparation: Helping to draft VAT returns, Corporation Tax computations, and Self-Assessment tax returns for review by senior accountants using Taxcalc
• Practice & Workflow Management: Utilising Engager software to manage client communications, update task workflows, and ensure compliance deadlines are met
• Client Communication: Liaising with clients to gather missing financial documentation, receipts, and records in a professional manner

• Assistant Accountant Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
• AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting
• You will attend training provided by Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber Training once a week, Commerce House, 123 St Nicholas Street, Radford, CV1 4FD
