Level 2 Accounts and Finance Apprentice (Salary £18,000)

• Help raise and process customer invoices
• Allocate customer payments and maintain accurate customer records
• Help reconcile customer accounts and follow up outstanding balances
• Assist with bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support routine month-end tasks and prepare information for the Management Accountant
• Help maintain accurate accounting records and organised finance documentation
• Process and check employee expense documentation
• Respond to routine queries from colleagues, customers and suppliers

This role is designed to provide the foundations for a long-term career in finance. As your knowledge and confidence develop, you will be given more responsibility across the finance function. Following successful completion of AAT Level 2 and strong performance in the role, there will be opportunities to continue onto further AAT qualifications and develop into more advanced accounting responsibilities within the business.
