Colormarket are a company that specialises in paint,surface coatings and wood finishing solutions located in Walsall, West Midlands.
They are looking for a Trade Counter/Warehousing Apprentice to support the team with duties. Apprentice will support all the daily operations of the Colormarket trade counter and warehouse.
The work
Trade Counter Duties
- Serve customers at the trade counter in a polite and professional manner
- Handle customer service enquiries regarding products, stock, and order status
- Mix paint accurately to formulas, maintain stock
- Use of tinting machines, shakers and mixing equipment
- Assisting with warehouse organisation Picking and packing for dispatch
- Process counter sales and prepare orders for collection
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe trade counter area
- Support customers with product information and basic technical guidance
- Assist with till operation and end-of-day counter tasks
Training
- On-site training
- No college day release
- Coach visits on-site
- Coach visits every month

Upon successful completion of the Apprenticeship, the candidate may progress into a full-time Trade Counter Technician/ Paint Mixing Technician/Warehouse Operative/Multi-skilled Trade Counter and Warehouse role.
