Adult care worker (level 2)
This is a fantastic opportunity to start a career in adult care while earning and learning. As a Care Assistant Apprentice, you will support residents with daily living, develop practical care skills, and work towards a recognised level 2 qualification in Adult Care. You will work with adults with learning disabilities.
The work
- Working with adults with learning disabilities
- Supporting residents with personal care and daily routines
- Assisting with meals, hydration and mobility
- Providing emotional support and companionship
- Helping residents maintain independence and dignity
- Working as part of a care team to deliver high-quality care
- Keeping care records accurate and up to date
Training
The apprentice will train through RNN Group, combining on-the-job learning with regular college-led training and assessor support in the workplace.
Training will be delivered through a mix of workplace observations, taught sessions and regular reviews with a dedicated apprenticeship assessor.

What you come out with
On completion, apprentices may progress into a permanent Care Assistant role and continue onto Level 3 Adult Care, senior care roles or specialist care pathways.
