The work
The successful apprentices will join our friendly and supportive Key Stage 1 team, working with children in Years 1 and 2.

Apprentices will be involved in the daily routines of school life and will have opportunities to develop their skills across the curriculum. Their main day-to-day contact will be the class teacher, with additional guidance, mentoring and support provided by the Phase Leader and wider school leadership team.

An apprenticeship includes regular training with Peterborough College. Off-the-job training will follow the time allocations outlined in the occupational standard.
After completing the induction day at Peterborough College campus, the apprentices will be required to attend a mandatory college-based learning day on a Wednesday every 3-week.
