Apprentice Childminder Assistant

The role will involve working with children from age 0-5. 

We have two large playrooms and your role will involve;

• Helping with meal times, promoting independence 
• Planning and delivering activities that help children to achieve and develop
• Creating bonds with all children and working closely with key children 
• Completing observations to monitor children's development and to help plan activities according to EYFS guidance 
• Helping children develop through play in all developmental areas. 
• Assisting with hand overs to and from parents, keeping them updated on their child's day.
• Ensuring all areas are clean, tidy and free from hazards
• Other general duties not already listed 

A permanent position will be considered on completion of the apprenticeship programme.

A DBS may be required.

Must enjoy working with children.

Paid for Christmas night out.

Lucy lockets is an open plan fun, warm and welcoming setting located on Stonyfield. The setting is open 7.30am - 6pm, 48 weeks of the year,  We love to create new things so playdough making, baking, sensory play are just some of the activities children in the setting can take part in. There a range of resources to encourage children to use their imagination whilst also developing other skills.
