Supply chain warehouse operative (level 2)
This vacancy involves all aspects dealing with a huge range of car parts and accessories for customers and suppliers. Predominantly working in the warehouse picking and packing parts and receiving goods in/out. Preparing customer orders. Serving onsite customers and processing orders and taking calls for customer enquiries via site office.
The work
- Picking and Packing of products ready for customers despatch
- Dealing with customer sales at the trade counter and via telephone
- Communicating with internal and external customers face to face and via telephone
- Dealing with stock control and dispatch
- Taking delivery of goods involving basic administration
- Learning and gaining knowledge of products
- Processing customer orders
- Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers
- General cleanliness and maintenance of stores
- Any duties as required by your supervisor/manager
Training
- Supply Chain Warehousing Level 2 qualification
- Functional skills in maths and English if required
- 20% off the job training (minimum 6 hours weekly)
- End Point Assessment (EPA)
- No day release required
