Finance Apprentice

• Process day-to-day financial transactions accurately and maintain financial records.
• Support accounts payable activities, including processing supplier invoices, checking documentation, resolving discrepancies and responding to supplier queries.
• Assist with accounts receivable processes, customer invoicing, account maintenance and payment investigations.
• Carry out routine reconciliations, identify discrepancies and follow financial controls and procedures.
• Support the preparation of financial reports by using Excel and finance systems to organise, validate and analyse data.
• Develop skills in using accounting, ERP and reporting systems while maintaining data accuracy and compliance with data protection requirements.
• Maintain organised financial records, support document management and provide general administrative assistance to the Finance team.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.

Possible progression within the business and onto further apprenticeships.
