Digital Support Technician Apprentice

• Set up and configure new printers/photocopiers
• Refurb used printers/photocopiers for re-sale
• Update firmware and install client data into the devices pre installation
• Run checks and diagnostics on newly set up and refurbished devices
• Assist on installs when required
• Work from a scheduled database to ensure that all devices are set up and completed on time

Your earnings can increase over time with an apprenticeship.

Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.

• A genuine interest in IT, technology and digital systems
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A willingness to learn new skills and develop your technical knowledge
• Good problem-solving skills and a logical approach to challenges
• The ability to work well as part of a team and independently
• A positive attitude, reliable and willing to take on new challenges
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office would be an advantage, but is not essential
