Room Leader Apprentice

• The Senior Nursery Nurse will have an area of responsibility within the nursery in addition to those normally expected of a Nursery Nurse
• The Senior Nursery Nurse is appointed to work with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years as part of a nursery team under the general direction of the manager/assistant manager
• To work under the direction of the Nursery Manager and Deputy as and when required
• To support the aims and objectives of the nursery and assist the Management team in the organisation of a high quality establishment for children from birth to 5 years
• Assist in the leading and implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework

• Early Years Lead Practitioner Level 5
• Relevant workplace training
• Functional Skills if required

To be decided upon completion of the qualification.  

• Candidates will need to pass a DBS check to start the role
• Candidates will need 2 good references
