ICT Apprentice

• IT Helpdesk Support: Logging support tickets and responding to telephone calls and emails from staff who need IT assistance.
• Technical Support: Helping colleagues troubleshoot technical issues and providing support with their IT queries.
• Hardware Maintenance: Assisting with the maintenance of PCs, laptops, and multifunction devices (MFDs).
• Software Maintenance: Supporting software updates and helping to keep applications running smoothly.
• Network Support: Assisting the team with the day-to-day running and support of the firm’s corporate network.
• Equipment and Stock Management: Monitoring stock levels of IT equipment and consumables, including printer toner.
• Meeting Room Set-up: Preparing meeting rooms with the necessary IT equipment to ensure everything is ready to use.

The Level 3 Apprenticeship in IT Digital Support Technician includes:

• Level 3 Apprenticeship in IT Digital Support Technician
• Level 2 Functional Skills in Mathematics (if applicable)
• Level 2 Functional Skills in English (if applicable)

You will attend a half-day session at the Training Centre each week, where you will develop your IT knowledge, technical skills, and work towards any functional skills (where needed) that are required. Additional off-the-job training will also be required as part of the apprenticeship.

This apprenticeship offers an excellent opportunity to develop valuable skills, knowledge, and workplace experience. Upon successful completion, there may be opportunities for permanent employment, career progression within the company, or progression onto higher-level qualifications or further education.
