Carpentry and joinery (level 2)
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Bench Joiner to join our factory team, manufacturing high-quality bedroom and bathroom furniture units. The role involves assembling furniture components using cam and dowel fixings, ensuring all products are assembled accurately and meet our quality standards.
The work
- Assemble bedroom and bathroom furniture units using cam and dowel fixings.
- Read and follow assembly drawings and manufacturing instructions.
- Ensure all units are assembled accurately and to a high standard.
- Check components for quality and report any defects or issues.
- Use hand tools and workshop equipment safely and correctly.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working area.
- Work efficiently to meet daily production targets.
- Previous experience in bench joinery or furniture assembly.
- Experience with cam and dowel assembly is preferred.
- Good attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.
- Ability to follow drawings and manufacturing instructions.
- Good practical skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual and motivated.
