Level 3 Childcare Apprentice

Early years educator (level 3)
Working under supervision of a mentor while training, you'll be doing activities with the children inside/outside & updating their care diaries once confident in the role. You'll support the aims & objectives of the nursery & assist with daily routines & childrens' needs. Ideally you'll hold a level 2 childcare qualification.
The work
- To develop and maintain positive relationships with children and families
- To assist with the planning and delivery of a wide range of activities to meet children’s needs
- To work within the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and promote high standards of care for the children
- Follow the guidance of your mentor throughout the day-to-day routine of the nursery
Ideally you will hold a level 2 qualification in Childcare.
Full training will be given.
Training
- The apprenticeship will be delivered in the workplace
- Apprentices will be invited to attend a monthly workshop which is usually delivered virtually
