Warehouse Division Apprentice

CCT Worldwide are looking for 2 apprentices to join the customer service team working within the Warehouse Division.

You will undertake the nationally recognised Supply Chain Warehouse apprenticeship. The successful candidates will gain expert knowledge within the warehouse environment.

This apprenticeship is a route into a career in logistics and customer service.

Duties would include:

• Physically handle cargo inbound and out to the satisfaction of the business, both manually and mechanically
• Liaise with UK colleagues to process transport bookings
• Monitor inbound cargo and stock levels to provide customers and team members with timely updates via an online portal
• Deal with customer and overseas partner queries
• Learn and manage customs requirements around bonded and customs-approved warehousing
• Handle fulfilment for e-commerce clients, including Amazon bound cargo

• Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
• On and off the job training and location to be confirmed
• On the job training delivered by the employer
• Apprentices without Level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the end point assessment. For those with an education, health and care plan or a legacy statement the apprenticeship English and mathematics minimum requirement is Entry Level 3
• Allocation of an apprenticeship delivery coach who will carry out regular training
• Assessment and support visits to ensure you acquire new learning, knowledge, skills and behaviours in order to progress and develop
• Identify, track and support 6 hours off-the-job training activities
• Quarterly formal progress review meetings, identifying learning achievements and next steps

This is a hybrid role that involves manual work both in the warehouse and yard, as well as office work that is predominantly administrative.

Annual leave (20 days pro rata 12-months).
