Installation and maintenance electrician (level 3)
This apprenticeship is ideal for individuals interested in becoming qualified electricians. Apprentices will gain practical on-the-job training alongside experienced professionals, while studying toward a Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification. The role provides the opportunity to build a solid career in the electrical industry.
The work
· Assist in installing and commissioning electrical systems. · Support routine maintenance and troubleshooting. · Learn to design and plan electrical installations. · Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. · Collaborate with other trades and team members. · Maintain accurate documentation.
Training
The apprentice will attend Waltham Forest College, located at 707 Forest Road, Walthamstow, London, E17 4JB, as part of their apprenticeship training. · 1 day per week at college · On-site college-based training · The remaining days will be spent working with Service Store, gaining practical experience and developing business administration skills in the workplace. · Training will support the apprentice in building the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to successfully complete their apprenticeship.
As part of the apprenticeship, you will work towards the Level 3 Electrical Apprenticeship, - Health and Safety - Electrical regulations and standards - Inspection and testing - Practical installation skills - Modern electrical technologies - Mathematics and underpinning theory. - Workplace competence - Assessment preparation
You will attend Waltham Forest College one day per week, with the remaining days spent at Service Store gaining hands-on experience and applying your learning in a real workplace. This apprenticeship will give you a recognised qualification, valuable practical experience and transferable skills to support your future career in the electrical industry.
