Construction equipment maintenance technician (level 3)
To support the workshop and yard in the preparation, inspection and repair of Hydraulic Attachments.
The work
- Work in the paint shop sanding, preparing and spray-painting Hydraulic Attachments
- Support the Workshop Fitter in the Pre Delivery Inspection, Offhire Inspection and general preventative maintenance of Hydraulic Attachments
- Support the Major Repair Engineer in repairing broken down Hydraulic Attachments
- Support the Fitter Drivers in the deliver, collection and instillation of Hydraulic Attachments
- Support in servicing and repairing the sites Forklift trucks and ride on rollers
Training
- Delivery will be a block release schedule
- 3x 3 week blocks across the 3 year program
- Training starts April 2027
Over time the company would look to put strong candidates through the below qualifications
- Abrasive Wheel
- Counter Balance Forklift Truck
- LOLER Inspection

Qualifications
- Essential · GCSE Maths & English 4/C or above
Things to consider
- Having your own transport to get to and from work would be essential unless the candidate lives locally
- Candidates will have to be happy working at times on their own initiative, outside in the elements and at a fast pace
